New Zealand Radiata Pine
Originally a specie from The Montenary Peninsular in The US this plantation crop has thrived in NZ conditions. The contrast in colour and texture between early and latewood growth rings is very moderate compared to other pines and conifers. This versatile and readily available timber is suitable for a wide range of end use applications
Chilean Radiata Pine
Chile has about 1.5 million hectares of radiata pine which accounts for 65 per cent of their forest plantations. Unlike New Zealand the plantation area in Chile is expanding at about 40,000 hectares a year, of which about a third is radiata pine

The Radiata in Spain grows slower than other regions around the world and is found mainly in the North West regions
Taeda Pine from Brazil and Uruguay
Commonly known as loblolly pine, is one of several pines native to the Southeastern United States, from central Texas east to Florida, and north to Delaware and southern New Jersey.The wood industry classifies the species as a southern yellow pine. U.S. Forest Service surveys found that loblolly pine is the second-most common species of tree in the United States, after red maple. For its timber, the pine species is regarded as the most commercially important tree in Southeastern US

American White Oak

American White Ash heartwood is a grey-brown, sometimes tinged with red. Demand is usually for the lighter coloured white sapwood. Generally straight grained with a coarse but even texture
Kwila decking
Kwila or merbau decking has a golden/brown colour and can vary greatly from board to board. Most Kwila has small yellow mineral deposits, making it even more distinctive. The grain is interlocked with straight elements. The colour deepens as Kwila ages. Timber ‘bleeds’ when wet producing dark brown stain

Native to Central & South America this versatile hardwood turns a rich brown before settling to silver grey over time
